Wide Calf Boots – Finding The Right Fit
Many women love their High Heel boots. In fact, it’s not uncommon to see a woman’s closet filled with a pile of them. Unfortunately, for women who have wider calves finding a shoe that fits can be challenging. The truth is most boots are made for women who have thin legs and narrow calves. This can be frustrating while trying to shop for a pair of shoes that looks fashionable and fits comfortably.
There is no brand or style of boot that is guaranteed to fit. You should always keep this in mind when shopping for a pair of women’s boots. It’s important to be open-minded and patient because more than likely you will need to try on many different boots. Don’t try to fool yourself. If the boot feels too tight or the zipper won’t zip up entirely – don’t buy it. Even though it may be the perfect match to an outfit you have at home, don’t force yourself into purchasing it. Why risk buying a women’s boot that will feel uncomfortable and squeeze your feet?
You should understand that it’s perfectly fine to go one size larger since you can always wear thicker socks to keep your feet comfortable. Also, some women with wider calves are afraid to wear Ankle Boots because they believe this will accentuate the widest aspect of their leg. The truth is, if you match the boots with a pair of skinny jeans or pants that extend down to cover the ankles, then you won’t have to worry about this issue. Not only will you look stylish but you will also be very comfortable.
